A career in learning and development (L&D) is a rapidly growing field. With the demand for skilled professionals in this field on the rise, it is important to be aware of the skills and experience that will help you future-proof your career. Here are five key skills you should develop to be successful in L&D:

  1. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

One of the key skills you need in L&D is the ability to think critically and problem-solve. Being able to come up with creative solutions to difficult challenges is essential in this field.

  1. Organizational skills

Successful L&D professionals are very organized. They need to be able to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively. They also need to be able to work well in a team environment.
