For most iPhone users, privacy is of utmost importance. Users want to protect their photos and videos from prying eyes or unauthorized access, whether it be personal, professional, or financial information. Fortunately, iPhone offers various security options to keep such data secure.

Here are the top two ways to hide your photos and videos on your iPhone:

1. Create a Hidden Album

One of the easiest ways to hide your photos and videos is by creating a hidden album. This feature is available on iOS 14 and above, and it allows you to hide specific photos and videos from regular viewing in the Photos app.

To create a hidden album:

Step 1: Open the Photos app on your iPhone and select the photos or videos you want to hide.

Step 2: Tap the “Share” icon located on the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Scroll down and tap “Hide.”

Step 4: Once you’ve selected all the photos you want to hide, tap “Hide Album” to create a new hidden album.

Step 5: To view the hidden album, go to the “Albums” tab, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and you will see the “Hidden” album.

Please note that creating a hidden album doesn’t mean your photos and videos are entirely secure. It’s merely a way to hide them from plain view, and anyone with access to your device can still find them.

2. Use a Third-Party App

There are various third-party apps available on the App Store designed to hide your photos and videos effectively. These apps offer more extensive security features than the built-in hidden album, such as password protection, encryption, and advanced security algorithms.

Some of the most popular apps for hiding photos and videos on your iPhone include:

a. Private Photo Vault

Private Photo Vault is an app that allows you to secure your photos and videos with a password or Touch ID. The app also has a built-in camera feature, which means you can take pictures directly in the app without worrying about the images getting stored in your phone’s camera roll.

b. KeepSafe Photo Vault

KeepSafe Photo Vault is another popular app that provides a secure way to hide your photos and videos. The app’s unique feature is the “Break-in Alerts,” which sends you notifications of the failed passcode attempts or break-in attempts.

c. Secret Calculator

Secret Calculator is a different type of app that hides your photos and videos under the guise of a working calculator. This means you can leave the app lying around with no one the wiser that it’s protecting your private photos and videos.

In conclusion, securing your private photos and videos is not negotiable, and there are several options available that do not require technical skills. With these top two ways of hiding photos and videos on your iPhone, you can feel reassured that your sensitive information is secure, and you can enjoy using your device with peace of mind.
