Ways to See if It’s Your Friend’s Birthday on Snapchat

Snapchat is a popular social media platform that lets users communicate and share their daily moments with their friends. One of the most exciting features of Snapchat is its birthday reminder, which alerts you when it’s your friend’s special day. If you’re wondering how to see if it’s your friend’s birthday on Snapchat, keep reading!

1. Check the Birthday Cake Emoji

Snapchat adds a birthday cake emoji 🎂 next to friends’ usernames on their special day. This is one of the easiest ways to find out if it’s your friend’s birthday. Just open your friend list, and if you see the birthday cake emoji next to their name, it means it’s their birthday.

2. Check the Snapchat Story

Another way to find out if it’s your friend’s birthday on Snapchat is to check out their Snapchat story. If your friend posts a birthday snap or story, then it’s their birthday. So make sure you check out their story as well!

3. Check Snapchat’s “Today” Section

Snapchat has a “Today” section, which shows you all the happenings of your friends for that day. To check if it’s your friend’s birthday, simply go to the “Today” section, and if it says it’s their birthday, then they’re celebrating their special day.

4. Check the Chat Screen

If you’ve sent a happy birthday message to your friend on their birthday, Snapchat will display a small cake icon 🎂 next to their name on the chat screen. This makes it easy for you to know if it’s their birthday, even if you forget to check the other options.

5. Check Other Social Media Accounts

Finally, if you’re still unsure, you can always check your friend’s other social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Most people announce their birthdays on their social media profiles, and Snapchat will surely receive several snaps from their friends wishing them a happy birthday as well.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
