How to Ping Your Apple Watch With Your iPhone

If you own an Apple Watch, chances are you’ve experienced times when you can’t seem to find it, whether it’s under a couch cushion or in the depths of your bag. Luckily, there’s a feature that can help you locate your watch using your iPhone: ping.

The ping feature plays a sound on your Apple Watch to help you locate it. Here’s how you can ping your Apple Watch using your iPhone:

1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone. This app is pre-installed on your iPhone and should appear on your home screen.

2. Tap on the “My Watch” tab. This will take you to a screen that shows all of the settings and options for your Apple Watch.

3. Scroll down until you see the “Ping Apple Watch” option. Tap on it.

4. Your Apple Watch will emit a sound, making it easier for you to locate it. You can keep tapping the “Ping Apple Watch” button until you find your device.

There are a few things to keep in mind when pinging your Apple Watch:

– Your Apple Watch needs to be within Bluetooth range of your iPhone to be pinged. This means that if your watch is out of range, you won’t be able to use this feature.

– If your Apple Watch is on silent or Do Not Disturb mode, it will still ping, but the sound will be quieter than usual. This is to prevent the ping sound from disturbing others nearby.

– If your Apple Watch is turned off or out of battery, it won’t be able to ping.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
