Windows 10 provides a variety of customization features to give users a truly personalized experience. One of the customization features that many users find appealing is the ability to set the Windows 10 lock screen photo as their desktop wallpaper. This feature can help to give your computer a cohesive look and feel, as well as provide a nice change in scenery.

Here are the steps you can take to set your Windows 10 lock screen photo as your desktop wallpaper:

Step 1: Find the Lock Screen Photo:

The first step in setting your Windows 10 lock screen photo as your desktop wallpaper is locating the image file. To do this, navigate to the “Personalization” settings in the Windows settings menu. Here, you will find the option to change the lock screen image. Click on this button, and you will be taken to a window where you can choose different photos or choose to display a slideshow.

Either choose the photo you want to use as your desktop wallpaper, or select “Slideshow” and choose a folder of pictures that you want to cycle through as your desktop wallpaper.

Step 2: Locate Your Lock Screen Photo File:

Now that you have selected your lock screen photo or folder, you need to locate the image file. To do this, navigate to the “Pictures” folder in your Windows File Explorer. Here, you will find a sub-folder named “Lock Screen.” Open this folder, and you will find all of the lock screen photos that you have selected.

Step 3: Set Your Lock Screen Photo as Your Desktop Wallpaper:

The final step is setting your lock screen photo as your desktop wallpaper. Right-click on the image file you want to use as your wallpaper and select “Set as desktop background.” This will immediately set your lock screen photo as your desktop wallpaper.

If you opted for the slideshow option, your desktop wallpaper will automatically change to a new photo from your selected folder at a set interval.

In conclusion, setting your Windows 10 lock screen photo as your desktop wallpaper is a simple way to personalize your computer and create a cohesive look across your computer’s user interface. With just a few clicks, you can give your desktop a fresh new look and feel, and enjoy a change of scenery every day with the slideshow option.
