Firefox is one of the most widely used web browsers globally, and it comes with a lot of features that make web browsing a lot easier for users. One of these features is the Firefox View for Tab Management, which allows users to view all their open tabs in one window. While this feature is useful, some users might prefer to disable it for various reasons.

In this article, we will discuss how to disable Firefox View for Tab Management.

Step 1: Open Firefox

Open your Firefox browser and click on the three horizontal lines at the top right corner of your screen to open the menu.

Step 2: Choose Options

From the menu, click on the “Options” button, which is the fourth from the bottom.

Step 3: Select General

After clicking on options, a new window will pop up. In this window, navigate to the “General” tab, which is the first tab in the list.

Step 4: Disable View for Tab Management

In the General tab, look for the section labeled “Tabs.” Under this section, you will see an option labeled “Show tab previews in Windows taskbar.” Uncheck the box next to this option to disable Firefox View for Tab Management.

Step 5: Apply Changes

Once you have unchecked the option, click on the “OK” button at the bottom right corner of the window to apply the changes.

Step 6: Restart Firefox

To ensure that the changes are properly applied, restart your Firefox browser. Once it has restarted, the Firefox View for Tab Management should be disabled.

Conclusion

Firefox View for Tab Management is a handy feature that allows users to view all their open tabs in one window. However, some users might find it distracting or unnecessary. If you fall into this category, then you can easily disable this feature by following the steps outlined in this article. Remember to restart Firefox to apply the changes.
