OneNote is a powerful digital note-taking application developed by Microsoft that allows you to create, organize and share your notes and information. One of the most powerful features of OneNote is its ability to create and share notebooks with others.

In this article, we will demonstrate how to create and share a notebook in OneNote so that you can collaborate with others and keep your notes organized.

Creating a Notebook in OneNote

The first step in creating a notebook in OneNote is to open the application. Once you have OneNote opened, you can create a new notebook by following these simple steps:

1. Click on the “File” tab located in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

2. Click on “New” from the drop-down menu.

3. Select “Notebook” from the options available.

4. Give your notebook a name and choose a location to save it.

5. Click on “Create Notebook” to finish.

Your new notebook will be created, and you can start adding notes and information to it immediately. You can add sections to your notebook by clicking on the “Add Section” button located on the right-hand side of the screen.

Sharing a Notebook in OneNote

Now that you have created your notebook, you can share it with others for collaboration purposes. To share your notebook in OneNote, follow these steps:

1. Click on the “File” tab located in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

2. Click on “Share” from the drop-down menu.

3. Select the option “Share to the Web.”

4. Sign in to your Microsoft account if prompted.

5. Choose the notebook that you want to share and click on “Share.”

You will now be provided with a link that you can share with others. Anyone who clicks on this link can view and edit the content of your notebook.

If you want to give people specific permissions to your notebook, you can do so by following these additional steps:

1. Click on “Settings” located to the right of the “Share” button.

2. Select the option “Advanced Settings.”

3. Choose the permission level you want to give to other users from the drop-down list.

4. Enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite and click on “Add Users.”

5. Click on “Share” to finish.

You have now successfully shared your notebook with others and given them specific permissions to edit and view your notes.
