Great Education Leaders Pursue Opportunities to Grow Their Wisdom and Skills

Education leaders continually seek new talents that allow them to learn and grow to prepare for any roadblocks. It is not an option if you want to have a long career; it is a need. Whether taking salsa lessons or visiting Finland to view their schools, new experiences will push you to be a better person. Read all you can get your hands-on business, leadership, and education, both in print and online.

Continuing Education is Mandatory

Educational leaders make it a point to keep informed and updated, and their desire to study is deliberate. Intentional learning is a never-ending process of acquiring and comprehending information to become more knowledgeable and prepared on a certain topic.

Educational leaders recognize that learning does not end after school; you must be educated at all times. A ravenous desire to study, push the boundaries of what is deemed possible, and explore unexplored terrain drives many education leaders. Reading, questioning “why?” more frequently, and enjoying the ride alone may help you grow your intellect.

You will notice that successful individuals ask many questions to acquire more knowledge. They are not ashamed of the prospect of not understanding anything; instead, they are enthralled and energized. They desire to learn everything they can about that subject and use it in their quest to reach their full leadership and personal potential.

Concluding Thoughts

Educational leaders, like professional athletes, aim to grow and improve continuously. Performance and the desire to see how far they can achieve in their personal lives and professions motivate great education leaders. Never forego an opportunity to learn something new. Accept and be appreciative of the challenge. After you retire and look back on your life, you will be astounded at how this one decision altered the path of your whole professional and personal life.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
