In the age of streaming, TV series come and go at a pace faster than ever before. With each platform curating an overwhelming amount of original content, it’s easy for quality shows to slip under the radar. HBO Max, for instance, is home to a wealth of shows that deserve a spot on your “must-watch” list but are likely missed by many. From dark comedies to gripping dramas, we’ve compiled a list of 9 top-tier HBO Max offerings that you’re probably not watching but absolutely should.

.Search Party – This dark comedy-thriller hybrid follows a group of narcissistic friends who become entangled in a mystery when a college acquaintance disappears. Its unique blend of suspense and humor makes it unlike anything else on television.

.Doom Patrol – A refreshing take on the superhero genre, ‘Doom Patrol’ is about a group of powered individuals with tragic backstories who come together to form an unlikely hero team. Their misadventures are both touching and hilariously bizarre.

.The Other Two – A sharp-witted comedy about two siblings struggling to achieve fame and success while their teenage brother becomes an overnight pop sensation. It is brutally funny with its take on fame and family dynamics in the modern age.

.Raised by Wolves – This science fiction drama directed by Ridley Scott tackles themes of religion, humanity, and survival as it follows two androids raising human children on a distant planet.

.The Flight Attendant – A fast-paced thriller starring Kaley Cuoco as a flight attendant who wakes up next to a dead man with no memory of what happened. The series spirals into a web of espionage and murder which keeps viewers hooked until the very end.

.Infinity Train – An animated anthology series that follows different characters’ journeys aboard a seemingly endless train with an array of unique and fantastical worlds inside its cars. It’s clever, heartwarming, and packed with imaginative storytelling suitable for all ages.

.Los Espookys – This primarily Spanish-language comedy revolves around a group of friends who turn their love for horror into an unconventional business, creating scares for various clients in their country.

.Made for Love – This dark comedy mixes technology and romance by exploring the life of a woman who escapes her tech billionaire husband only to discover he has implanted a monitoring device in her brain.

.I May Destroy You – Created by and starring Michaela Coel, this critically acclaimed series explores the question of sexual consent in contemporary life through the story of a woman who seeks to rebuild her life after experiencing sexual assault.

Each show stands out with its original content and storytelling approach that provides more depth than typical mainstream offerings. Whether you’re looking for laughs, thrills, or thought-provoking drama, these hidden gems deliver in spades – it’s time to stop scrolling endlessly and start watching these underrated HBO Max originals!
