Thanks to technology, we can easily share photos and videos with friends and family no matter where they are in the world. However, some moments are meant to be shared only with those closest to you. Here are some ways to share photos and videos privately with your family members.

1. Create a private album on Facebook or Instagram

Facebook and Instagram both have a feature where you can create a private album that only certain people can access. This way, you can share photos and videos with just your family members without the worry of other people seeing them.

2. Use a cloud storage service

Cloud storage services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and iCloud allow you to upload and share files with specific people. This is a great way to share large files such as videos without clogging up your email inbox.

3. Share via messaging apps

Messaging apps such as WhatsApp, iMessage, and Facebook Messenger all have a feature where you can send photos and videos directly to specific people or groups. This is a quick and easy way to share something with just your family members.

4. Share via email

If you prefer a more traditional method, you can always share photos and videos via email. This is a great option if you have a lot of photos to share but don’t want to clog up your family member’s messaging inbox.

5. Use a family photo sharing app

There are many apps designed specifically for sharing photos and videos with family members. Some of the most popular ones include FamilyAlbum, Cluster, and Lifecake. These apps allow you to create albums, share photos and videos, and even leave comments and reactions.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
