Safari is one of the most popular web browsers across the globe. With every update, it brings new features and improvements that make the browsing experience smoother and more seamless. One of the latest updates in Safari for iOS 15 is the Tab Groups feature, which allows users to organize their open tabs in a more efficient and convenient way. In this article, we will guide you on how to use Tab Groups in Safari with iOS 15.

Step 1: Update to iOS 15

The first step in using Tab Groups in Safari is to make sure that your device is updated to the latest iOS 15. To check whether your iPhone or iPad is running the latest software, head over to the Settings app, tap on General, and select Software Update. If your device is not updated, download and install the latest version.

Step 2: Open Safari and Create a Tab Group

Once you have updated to iOS 15, open Safari on your device and tap on the Tabs icon (two overlapping squares) at the bottom-right corner of the screen. To create a Tab Group, long-press on any of the open tabs, and select Add to Tab Group.

Step 3: Name Your Tab Group

After selecting Add to Tab Group, you will be prompted to name your Tab Group. You can choose any name that suits your preference. For instance, you can name it according to the type of tabs contained in the group, such as Work, Personal, or Entertainment.

Step 4: Add Tabs to Your Tab Group

To add more tabs to your created Tab Group, long-press on any open tab, and select Add to Tab Group. Choose the name of the Tab Group you have created earlier to add the new tab to it. You can keep adding as many tabs as you want to your Tab Group.

Step 5: Switch Between Tab Groups

To switch between Tab Groups, tap on the Tabs icon, and select the Tab Groups icon (three stacked squares). This will display all your Tab Groups. Tap on any Tab Group to open it, and you can view all the tabs contained in that group.

Step 6: Reorder or Delete Tab Groups

To reorder your Tab Groups, long-press on any Tab Group, and drag it to the desired location. You can also delete a Tab Group by swiping left on it and tapping on the Delete button.

Conclusion

Using Tab Groups in Safari with iOS 15 is a fantastic way to keep your browsing experience organized and easy to navigate. With the simple steps outlined above, you can create, manage, and switch between your existing Tab Groups in just a few taps. Give it a try and enjoy a more streamlined browsing experience on your iPhone or iPad.
