In the world of social media, Vine was once the platform where funny and creative videos with a duration of only six seconds were shared. The app brought overnight fame to several individuals, deemed as “Vine stars”, who used their creativity and humor to stand out from the crowd.
However, when Twitter announced the shutdown of Vine in 2016, many of its stars moved to other platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat. This move proved to be fruitful for many of them, as they continued to gain a significant following, and ultimately became household names.

Here are some of the Vine stars who are now famous:

1. Cameron Dallas – With 10.7 million followers on Instagram, Cameron Dallas is one of the most recognizable Vine stars who transitioned to mainstream media. He was cast in the Netflix series “Chasing Cameron” and appeared in movies like “Expelled” and “The Outfield”.

2. Brittany Furlan – Brittany Furlan was a Vine star with over 9 million followers on the platform. She has now transitioned to become a comedian, actress, and writer, making appearances on shows like “The Soup” and “Ridiculousness”. She is also set to release a memoir titled “The Worst Decisions of My Life” in 2021.

3. Lele Pons – Lele Pons is a social media personality with over 43 million Instagram followers. She was once the most followed individual on Vine, and has since moved to platforms like YouTube and Instagram, where she has amassed a massive fan following. She has also appeared in films and music videos.

4. King Bach – Andrew Bachelor, popularly known as King Bach, has over 19 million followers on Instagram. He was once the most followed Viner and has since appeared in movies like “The Babysitter”, “Meet the Blacks”, and “When We First Met”. He is also a comedian and has toured with his live shows.

5. Shawn Mendes – Shawn Mendes started his career as a Vine star, where he shared his singing abilities with a global audience. He only had 10,000 followers on Vine but has since become an international pop star with massive hits like “Treat You Better” and “Señorita” featuring Camila Cabello.

In conclusion, the Vine app may no longer exist, but the stars that it brought to the forefront are still making a significant impact in the entertainment industry. Their creativity and humor live on, and they continue to gain a massive following on other social media platforms. They have proven that hard work and dedication can lead to success, and have become an inspiration to many aspiring content creators.
