Since their release in 2014, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have both been incredibly popular choices for consumers looking to upgrade their mobile devices. While both models are similar in terms of overall design and functionality, there are a few key differences that set them apart from one another.

Size and Design

The most obvious difference between the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is their size. The iPhone 6 measures in at 4.7 inches diagonally, while the 6 Plus is a much larger 5.5 inches. The 6 Plus is also a bit thicker and heavier than the 6. While both models feature an aluminum body with rounded edges, the 6 Plus has a slightly different button layout to accommodate its larger size.

Display

The larger size of the iPhone 6 Plus also means that it has a higher resolution display than the iPhone 6. The 6 Plus has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, while the iPhone 6 has a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels. While both models have Retina displays, the 6 Plus has a higher pixel density, which means that images and text will appear sharper and clearer.

Battery Life

Another advantage of the iPhone 6 Plus is its superior battery life. The larger size of the 6 Plus allows for a bigger battery than the iPhone 6, which means that it can last longer between charges. In fact, the 6 Plus can provide up to 24 hours of talk time, while the iPhone 6 maxes out at 14 hours.

Camera

Both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, but the 6 Plus has a more advanced optical stabilization system, which makes it easier to take clearer photos and videos, especially in low light situations. Additionally, the 6 Plus has a bigger screen, which makes it easier to frame photos and videos.

Price

Lastly, there is a difference in price between the two models. The larger size and improved features of the iPhone 6 Plus means that it is generally more expensive than the iPhone 6. Additionally, storage can also be a factor in the price difference, as the 6 Plus is available with up to 128GB of storage, while the iPhone 6 is limited to 64GB.

Overall, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are both excellent choices for consumers looking for a reliable and advanced mobile device. While the 6 Plus has a few advantages in terms of size, display, battery life, and camera, the iPhone 6 remains a popular option due to its more affordable price point and smaller form factor. Ultimately, the best choice will come down to personal preference and how much you are willing to spend on your device.
