The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is set to launch in early 2022, and with it comes three new models: the S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. Each phone offers a unique set of features and specifications, making it difficult for consumers to decide which one to choose. In this article, we’ll break down the differences between the three models and help you choose which one is right for you.

Design and Display

All three phones will feature a sleek, modern design with slim bezels and a hole-punch camera. The S22 and S22+ will have a 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch display, respectively, while the S22 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch display. The S22 Ultra also features a curved screen, while the S22 and S22+ are flat.

The S22 Ultra will have the highest resolution display, with a QHD+ resolution of 3200×1440 pixels. The S22 and S22+ will both have a Full HD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels.

Camera

One of the biggest differences between the S22 models is the camera system. The S22 and S22+ will have a triple camera system with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. The S22+ will also have a fourth camera, a 10MP periscope telephoto lens.

The S22 Ultra will have a quad-camera system, with a 108MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The S22 Ultra will also feature Samsung’s new 200MP sensor, which can capture stunningly detailed photos.

Battery Life

The S22 and S22+ will have a 4000mAh and 4800mAh battery, respectively, while the S22 Ultra will have a massive 5000mAh battery. All three phones will support 25W fast charging, as well as wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

Performance

All three phones will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2200 chipset, which is expected to be one of the most powerful mobile processors on the market. The S22 and S22+ will have 8GB of RAM, while the S22 Ultra will have 12GB or 16GB of RAM. Storage options will vary between models, with the S22 and S22+ offering 128GB or 256GB, while the S22 Ultra will have storage options of up to 1TB.

Price

As you might expect, the price of each phone will vary depending on the model. The S22 is expected to start at around $799, while the S22+ will likely start at $999. The S22 Ultra, being the most premium model, will start at around $1,199.
