Remove a Stripped Screw in Seconds with this Office Supply

We have all encountered that frustrating moment when we’re trying to unscrew a stripped screw, only to find ourselves helpless, as the screwdriver’s grip fails and we’re left with no way to get it out. But fear not, for there is an ingenious solution lurking within your office supply drawer: a rubber band!

That’s right, a simple, everyday rubber band can help you remove even the most stubborn of stripped screws in mere seconds. Here’s how:

1. First, you’ll need a rubber band that’s wide enough to cover the entire screw head. Look through your drawer and find one that matches these requirements.

2. Next, you’ll place the rubber band flat on top of the screw head, making sure it fully covers it. Then, press down firmly with your fingers so that the rubber grips the shredded edges of the screw properly.

3. With the rubber band in place, take your screwdriver and position its tip onto the center of the rubber band-covered screw head. Apply steady pressure while turning it counter-clockwise.

4. As you continue to turn your screwdriver counter-clockwise, ensure that the rubber band remains in constant contact with the screw head.

5. If everything is done correctly, you will soon notice that the screw begins to turn and gradually comes out without any hassle.

This brilliant trick utilizes the natural elasticity and friction provided by a rubber band, offering enough grip for your screwdriver to catch onto those damaged edges of a stripped screw head and extract it quickly and efficiently.

So next time you’re stuck with a pesky stripped screw, fear not! Reach for a humble rubber band and watch as it saves the day (and possibly your sanity). With this simple office supply trick at your disposal, no stripped screw will be able to stand in your way again.
