Playing Wordle on iPhone or Android? Here’s How to Reset Your Streak

Wordle has taken the world by storm with its simple yet addictive gameplay. The game challenges you to guess a five-letter word in six attempts, and with every correct guess, you build up a streak. But what happens when you miss a day, and your precious streak is reset? Don’t worry, it’s easy to get back on track. Here’s how to reset your Wordle streak on iPhone or Android.

Firstly, it’s important to note that you can’t reset your streak manually in the game. However, there is a way to do it indirectly by taking a break from the game for 24 hours. After 24 hours, your streak will be reset, and you can start fresh.

To reset your streak, simply don’t play Wordle for 24 hours. This means you can’t guess the word or check the results from previous games. You need to completely disconnect from the game to ensure your streak is reset. This may be difficult if you’re a die-hard Wordle fan, but it’s essential if you want to reset your streak.

If you’re worried about missing out on the daily challenge, don’t fret. You can still play the game, but instead of guessing the five-letter word, click on the ‘X’ button to close the game. This way, you won’t receive a score, and your streak won’t be affected.

After 24 hours of non-play, restart the game, and your streak will be reset to zero. Don’t worry; you won’t lose any of your previous scores or achievements. You’ll just have to build up your streak again from scratch.

It’s worth noting that some players have reported issues with resetting their streak even after 24 hours of non-play. This could be due to a glitch in the system, but it’s rare. If this happens to you, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, or contact customer support for assistance.

Finally, remember that a high streak doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a Wordle expert. The game relies heavily on luck, and even the most experienced players can have a bad day. So don’t worry too much about resetting your streak. Just have fun, and enjoy the challenge of guessing the five-letter word.
