In recent years, there has been a shift in the way people learn. Gone are the days of memorizing information and taking exams. Today, people are more engaged and interactive with their learning than ever before. Here are five reasons why learning has changed forever:

  1. Technology: Technology has played a huge role in the way people learn. Today, most people learn using technology. This includes using technology to access information, using technology to collaborate with others, and using technology to learn new skills.
  2. eLearning: eLearning is another way people learn today. eLearning is a form of learning that uses technology to deliver learning content. This can include using video, audio, and interactive content to help students learn.
  3. Social Media: Social media has become a key way people learn. This includes using social media to access information, to collaborate with others, and to share learning experiences.
  4. Mobile Learning: Mobile learning is another way people learn today. This includes using mobile devices to access learning content. This content can be accessed on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
  5. Blended Learning: blended learning is a type of learning that combines face-to-face and online learning. This means that students engage in some face-to-face learning and also use technology to engage with learning content.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
