PDFs (Portable Document Format) are widely used and trusted for sharing various types of documents, be it resumes, manuals or textbooks. There are times when you need to combine multiple PDFs, and it becomes a tedious task to manage them individually. Fortunately, with the help of technology, combining multiple PDFs is a simple task with no cost involved.

Windows and Mac systems support different methods and tools to combine multiple PDFs. Let’s dive into how it’s free and easy to combine multiple PDFs on Windows or Mac.

1) Using Adobe Acrobat DC: Adobe Acrobat DC is a widely used tool for managing PDFs. The latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC provides users with the option to combine PDFs. To combine multiple PDFs, select ‘File’ and then ‘Create,’ followed by ‘Combine Files into PDF,’ and then click ‘Add Files’ to import multiple PDFs. Finally, click the ‘Combine’ option to merge all the imported PDFs into a single document.

2) Using the Preview app on Mac: The Preview app on Mac is a built-in tool that allows users to easily combine PDFs. Firstly, open the app and select ‘File’, followed by ‘Open.’ Add multiple PDFs by selecting ‘File,’ ‘Insert,’ and ‘Page from File.’ Once all the required PDFs are added, you can easily re-arrange the pages and save the file by clicking ‘File’ and ‘Save’.

3) Third-party tools: There are various third-party tools available on the web that allow users to combine multiple PDFs, such as Sejda, PDFsam or PDFJoiner. Some of these tools are free and offer a range of features, while others offer a premium version with advanced features.

In conclusion, combining multiple PDFs has become effortless and cost-free. Systems like Windows and Mac provide built-in tools to merge PDFs, while third-party tools are available in case an advanced set of features is required. Combining PDFs ensures your documents are organized, easy to manage, and easily shareable.
