How to Use WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp on Your Computer

WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. It has over 2 billion users globally and is widely used to communicate with friends, family, and colleagues. Recently, WhatsApp released a web version of its messaging app, called WhatsApp Web, making it easier to communicate from your computer.

In this article, we’ll explore how to use WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp on your computer.

Getting started with WhatsApp Web

Before we dive into how to use WhatsApp Web, you’ll need to ensure that you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your phone.

Here are the steps to use WhatsApp Web:

1. Open your web browser and go to web.whatsapp.com.

2. On your phone, open WhatsApp and go to “Settings”.

3. Tap “WhatsApp Web/Desktop”.

4. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code on your computer screen.

Once you scan the QR code, you should be logged in to WhatsApp Web on your computer.

How to send a message on WhatsApp Web:

1. Click on the chat icon located in the top left corner.

2. Select the contact you want to message.

3. Type your message and press enter to send it.

How to start a new chat on WhatsApp Web:

1. Click on the new chat icon located in the bottom left corner.

2. Enter the name or phone number of the person you want to chat with.

3. Type your message and press enter to send it.

How to send media files on WhatsApp Web:

  1. Click on the paper clip icon located in the bottom right corner.

2. Select the type of media file you want to send (such as photos, videos, and documents).

3. Select the file you want to send and click on “Open”.

How to use WhatsApp on your computer

If you prefer to use WhatsApp on your computer without having to open a web browser, you can also download the WhatsApp desktop app.

Here are the steps to use WhatsApp on your computer:

1. Go to the WhatsApp download page.

2. Download the app for your operating system (Windows or MacOS).

3. Open the downloaded file and install the app.

4. Open the app and follow the same steps to scan the QR code as you would with WhatsApp Web.

Once you have successfully logged in to WhatsApp on your computer, you can use it just like you would on your phone.
