The PlayStation 5 is the latest and greatest gaming console from Sony. While it’s primarily designed for gaming, it also comes equipped with a web browser that allows you to browse the internet from the comfort of your couch. In this article, we’ll show you how to use the PS5 web browser.

Step 1: Open the Web Browser

To open the PS5 web browser, navigate to the home screen and select the “Internet” icon. This will launch the web browser and take you to the default homepage.

Step 2: Navigate to a Website

To navigate to a website, use the left stick on your PS5 controller to move the cursor to the address bar at the top of the screen. Once there, use the on-screen keyboard to type in the URL of the website you want to visit. When you’re done typing, press the “Enter” button on your controller to load the website.

Step 3: Use the Browser Controls

Once you’re on a website, you can use the browser controls to navigate and interact with the site. Use the left stick to move the cursor around the screen, and use the right stick to scroll up and down. You can also zoom in and out on the page using the L2 and R2 buttons.

Step 4: Customize Your Browser Settings

The PS5 web browser comes with a few customization options that you can tweak to your liking. To access these settings, press the “Options” button on your controller while you’re on the home screen of the web browser. From there, you can change your homepage, adjust your privacy settings, and more.

Conclusion

With the PS5 web browser, you can browse the internet from the comfort of your couch. By following the steps outlined in this article, you’ll be able to navigate to your favorite websites and use the browser controls to interact with them. So go ahead and give it a try!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
