How to Share a Specific Part of a YouTube Video

YouTube is one of the most popular video sharing platforms that has a vast collection of videos to choose from. While watching videos on YouTube, we come across some interesting or informative part that we want to share with our friends or colleagues. However, it can be challenging to share the specific part of a video with them. Fortunately, there are several ways to share a specific part of a YouTube video with others that we will discuss in this article.

1. Share a YouTube Video by Telling the Time Stamps:

The easiest way to share a specific part of a YouTube video is by telling the time stamps. You can tell your friends the minute and second of the specific part that you want them to see. When they open the video, they can drag the playhead to that time stamp themselves. For instance, “The part I want you to see starts at the 2:22 minute mark in the video.”

2. Share a YouTube Video With a Specific Start and End Time:

Another way to share a particular part of a YouTube video is by creating a custom link that starts and ends at the specific time you want to share. You can do this by following these simple steps:

– Open the YouTube video you want to share and play it.
– Pause at the specific moment you want to share.
– Right-click on the video and select “Copy Video URL at Current Time.”
– Share the link with your friends.

Alternatively, you can manually add the start and end time to the YouTube video link. For example, if you want to share a video that starts at 2:22 and ends at 3:43, you can add the time parameters like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=videoID&t=2m22s&end=3m43s

3. Share a YouTube Video by Embedding It:

If you want to share a YouTube video on a website or blog, you can embed it with the specific part you want your audience to see. You can do this by following these steps:

– Open the YouTube video you want to share.
– Click on Share and select Embed.
– Check the box “Start at” and enter the specific start time.
– Copy the HTML code and paste it on your website or blog.

4. Share a YouTube Video with the Share Dialogue Box:

You can also use the Share dialogue box available on the YouTube video to share the specific part of the video. Here’s how:

– Open the YouTube video and pause at the specific part you want to share.
– Click on Share, and a dialogue box will appear.
– Check the box “Start at” and confirm the specific start time.
– Share the link with your friends.

In conclusion, sharing a specific part of a YouTube video is easy with these simple methods. You can either tell the time stamps to your friends, create a custom link that starts and ends at the desired time, embed the video on websites, blogs, or use the Share dialogue box to share the video. By following these steps, you can share your favorite parts of a YouTube video with your friends and colleagues quickly and efficiently.
