How to Restore Your Gmail Contacts to a Previous State

Have you ever accidentally deleted some of your important Gmail contacts? Don’t worry, you can easily restore your Gmail contacts to a previous state. Gmail automatically saves your contacts history, so you can easily recover them in case of an accidental deletion. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to restore your Gmail contacts to a previous state.

Step 1: Open Gmail and go to Contacts First, open Gmail in your web browser and click on the “Google Apps” button in the top-right corner of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select “Contacts” to open your Gmail contacts.

Step 2: Click on the three horizontal lines In the left-hand menu, you’ll see three horizontal lines. Click on them to open the “More” menu.

Step 3: Select “Undo Changes” In the “More” menu, you’ll see an option called “Undo Changes.” Click on it to open a new window.

Step 4: Select the time frame for the restore In the new window, you’ll see a drop-down menu with several options for the time frame of the restore. You can select a time frame ranging from the past 10 minutes to the past 30 days. Select the time frame that you want to restore.

Step 5: Click on “Confirm” After selecting the time frame, you’ll see a confirmation message that tells you how many contacts will be restored. If you’re happy with the number, click on “Confirm” to start the restore process.

Step 6: Wait for the restore process to complete The restore process may take a few minutes, depending on the number of contacts that need to be restored. Once the process is complete, you’ll see a confirmation message.

Step 7: Check your contacts Finally, check your Gmail contacts to make sure that the contacts you wanted to restore have been successfully recovered.

In conclusion, restoring your Gmail contacts to a previous state is an easy process that can save you a lot of time and effort. Just follow the steps outlined in this article, and you’ll have your contacts back in no time. Remember to regularly back up your Gmail contacts to avoid losing them in the future.
