Google Chrome is one of the fastest and most popular web browsers in the world. It is widely used for its simplicity, speed, and security features. Many people use Chrome to download files online, be it music, videos, or documents. However, there are times when you need to download multiple files, and you may not want to download them all at once. In such cases, queuing downloads in Chrome can be a lifesaver. In this article, we will show you how to queue downloads in Chrome.

Step 1: Open Google Chrome and click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the browser window.

Step 2: Scroll down and click on “Settings.”

Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Advanced.”

Step 4: Under the “Downloads” section, turn on the “Ask where to save each file before downloading.” This option will allow you to choose where you want to save your files before downloading them.

Step 5: Now, you can start to queue downloads. First, click on the link or file you want to download. When a pop-up window appears, click on “Save As.”

Step 6: Choose the location where you want to save the file and click on “Save.” Once you have done this, the file will be added to your download queue.

Step 7: Repeat this process for every file you want to download. You will notice that each time you click on a link or file, and you choose the “Save As” option to save the file location, it gets added to your download queue.

Step 8: Once you have added all the files you want to download to your queue, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the Chrome browser and click on “Downloads.”

Step 9: You will see a list of all the files you have added to the queue. You can click on “Pause,” “Resume,” “Cancel,” or “Open Downloads Folder” for each file.

Step 10: To remove a file from the queue, click on the “X” icon next to the file’s name.

By following these simple steps, you can easily queue multiple downloads in Chrome. This feature will not only help you manage your downloads better but also save you time and frustration. As a result, you will be able to work more efficiently and complete your tasks faster.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
