InShot is a mobile video editing app that allows you to create and edit videos directly from your phone. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, this app is easy to use and offers a wide range of features to make your videos stand out. In this guide, we will take you through the editing process, step by step, so you can learn how to edit your videos with the InShot mobile app.

Step 1: Import your video

The first step to editing your video is to import it into the InShot app. Open the app and select the “Video” option on the home screen. You can either select a video from your camera roll or shoot a new video directly in the app. Once you have selected your video, it will appear on the timeline at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Trim and split your video

To trim your video, drag the slider at the bottom of the screen to the start and end points of the clip you want to keep. To split your video, press and hold on the clip and then tap the “Split” button. This will split the clip into two parts, which you can then edit separately.

Step 3: Add music and sound effects

InShot has a wide range of music and sound effects that you can add to your videos. To add music, select the “Music” option on the home screen and then browse through the available tracks. Once you have found a track you like, tap on it to preview and then select “Use” to add it to your video. To add sound effects, select the “Sound” option and browse through the available effects. Once you have found an effect you like, tap on it to preview and then select “Use” to add it to your video.

Step 4: Add text and stickers

To add text to your video, select the “Text” option on the home screen and then choose from a range of font styles and colors. You can then type in your text and adjust the size, position, and duration. To add stickers, select the “Sticker” option and choose from a range of animated and static stickers.

Step 5: Apply filters and effects

InShot has a range of filters and effects that you can apply to your videos to enhance the visual appeal. To apply a filter, select the “Filter” option on the home screen and then choose from the available filters. You can then adjust the intensity of the filter using the slider at the bottom of the screen. To apply an effect, select the “Effect” option and choose from a range of effects such as glitch, light leaks, and more.

Step 6: Export and save your video

Once you have finished editing your video, select the “Export” option on the home screen. You can then choose the quality and resolution for your video and select the “Save” button to export and save your video to your camera roll.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
