Spread the love

In the era of smartphones, the ringtone has become an important part of our lives. Every time our phone rings, it announces to the world our style and taste. That’s why people like to keep their favorite songs as their ringtones. If you’re an iPhone user, you might be wondering how to make a song your ringtone on iPhone. Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered.

Step One: Choose a Song

The prerequisite before making a song your ringtone is choosing a song. You can pick any song from your iPhone’s music library. Make sure it’s a song that you like and won’t mind hearing multiple times a day.

Step Two: Trim the Song

The second step is to trim the song. Tones work best when they are 30 seconds or less in length. You can use the built-in editor in the music app. Simply tap and hold the song, click on edit, and then select the part of the song you want to use as your ringtone.

Step Three: Convert the Song to a Ringtone

Now that you have trimmed your song, it’s time to convert it to a ringtone format. You can do this by changing the file extension. Follow the steps below:

1. Open the Files app on your iPhone.

2. Navigate to the song that you just trimmed.

3. Tap on it, and it will play in the Files app player.

4. Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.

5. Tap “Share.”

6. Tap “Ringtone.”

Step Four: Set Your New Ringtone

The final step is to set your new ringtone. Follow these instructions to complete the process:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

2. Tap on “Sounds & Haptics.”

3. Tap on “Ringtone.”

4. Scroll down until you see “Custom” and tap on it.

5. Find the ringtone you just created (it should be at the top of the list).

6. Tap on it, and it will be set as your new ringtone.

There you have it, making a song your ringtone on iPhone is a straightforward process. Follow these four steps to hear your favorite song every time your phone rings.
