Samsung smartphones come equipped with a lot of features and a variety of apps pre-installed. Many users, however, may not use all of these apps and may want to uninstall them to free up storage space or declutter their home screens. Here’s how you can delete apps on Samsung smartphones.

Method 1: Uninstalling Apps from the Home Screen

One of the easiest ways to uninstall an app from a Samsung smartphone is by deleting it from the home screen. Simply locate the app you want to uninstall from the home screen, long-press on it, and select “Uninstall” from the popup menu that appears. Follow the on-screen prompts and confirm the action to complete the uninstallation process.

Method 2: Using the App Drawer

The app drawer is a collection of all the apps on your Samsung smartphone. It can be accessed by swiping up or down from the home screen. Follow these steps to delete an app from the app drawer:

1. Open the app drawer by swiping up or down from the home screen.

2. Locate the app that you want to uninstall.

3. Long press on the app icon until a menu appears.

4. Select “Uninstall” from the menu.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions and confirm the action to complete the uninstallation process.

Method 3: Using Settings

Another way to delete apps on Samsung smartphones is by using settings. Follow these steps to delete an app using settings:

1. Open the settings app on your Samsung smartphone.

2. Scroll down and select “Apps” from the list of options.

3. Find the app you want to uninstall and select it.

4. Tap on “Uninstall.”

5. Confirm the action by tapping “OK” when prompted.

Note: Some pre-installed apps may not have the option to uninstall.

Method 4: Using Google Play Store

If you’ve downloaded an app from the Google Play Store and want to delete it, you can use the Play Store itself to do so. Follow these steps to delete an app from the Play Store:

1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Samsung smartphone.

2. Tap on the three-line icon on the top left of the screen to open the menu.

3. Tap on “My apps & games.”

4. Find the app you want to uninstall and select it.

5. Tap on “Uninstall.”

6. Confirm the action by tapping “OK” when prompted.

In conclusion, deleting apps on Samsung smartphones is a straightforward process. Whether you want to free up storage space or declutter your home screen, using any of the four methods listed above should enable you to uninstall apps that you no longer need.
