OneNote is a popular note-taking and organizing tool developed by Microsoft. It allows users to create and store notes in various formats, including text, images, graphs, and tables. One of the most useful features of OneNote is that it can convert typed or handwritten notes into digital format, making it easier to share and collaborate with others.

If you’re using OneNote and want to print notes directly from the app, you’ll need to install the OneNote printer driver. This driver allows OneNote to act as a printer and enables you to send notes to OneNote directly from any application that has a print function.

Here’s how to install the OneNote printer driver on Windows:

Step 1: Open OneNote and navigate to the File menu.

Step 2: Click “Print” in the drop-down menu.

Step 3: In the Printer drop-down menu, select “Send to OneNote.”

Step 4: If the OneNote printer driver is not installed on your computer, you will see a message that says, “OneNote cannot find a printer driver. Install the printer driver and try again.”

Step 5: Click “Install Printer Driver” to start the installation process.

Step 6: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 7: After the installation is complete, you can send notes to OneNote by selecting “Send to OneNote” in the Print dialog box of any application.

If you’re using OneNote on a Mac, installing the OneNote printer driver is a little different. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Open the OneNote app on your Mac and navigate to the File menu.

Step 2: Click “Export” in the drop-down menu.

Step 3: In the Export dialog box, select “PDF” as the file format.

Step 4: Select “Send to OneNote” in the PDF Options dialog box and click “Save.”

Step 5: You will be prompted to install the OneNote printer driver. Click “Install” to start the installation process.

Step 6: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 7: After the installation is complete, you can send notes to OneNote by selecting “Send to OneNote” in the Print dialog box of any application.

Once you’ve installed the OneNote printer driver, you can easily print notes from any application by selecting “Send to OneNote” instead of a physical printer. This is a great way to save paper and keep all your notes organized in OneNote.
