Switching users in Windows 10 is a necessary task for those who share a computer with others. Whether you have multiple user accounts for work, family, or friends, it’s important to know the different ways you can switch between them. Here are the 5 best ways to switch users in Windows 10:

  1. Using the Start Menu

The easiest way to switch users in Windows 10 is by using the Start menu. Simply click on the Start button in the bottom-left corner of the screen, then click on your account picture in the top-left corner. From there, you can select the account you want to switch to.

  1. Using the Lock Screen

Another quick way to switch users is by using the Lock screen. Press the Windows key + L to lock the screen, then click on the “Sign in” button. This will take you to the login screen, where you can select the user you want to switch to.

  1. Using the Task Manager

If you need to switch users while working on something, you can use the Task Manager. Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open the Task Manager, then click on the “Users” tab. From there, you can select the user you want to switch to and click on the “Switch user” button.

  1. Using the Alt + F4 Shortcut

Another way to switch users is by using the Alt + F4 shortcut. Press the Alt + F4 keys to bring up the Shut Down Windows dialog box, then select “Switch user” from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the login screen, where you can select the user you want to switch to.

  1. Using the Command Prompt

Finally, you can switch users in Windows 10 using the Command Prompt. Press the Windows key + X to open the Power User menu, then select “Command Prompt (Admin)” from the list. Type in the command “tsdiscon” and press Enter. This will disconnect your current session and take you back to the login screen, where you can select the user you want to switch to.

In conclusion, these are the 5 best ways to switch users in Windows 10. Whether you need to quickly switch between accounts or want to use a shortcut, these methods will make it easy to switch users on your computer.
