Reasons You Shouldn’t Use Neeva, the New “Tracker-Free” Search Engine

If you’re looking for a search engine that doesn’t track your data, Neeva may seem like the perfect choice. According to their website, they don’t sell your information to third-party advertisers, and they promise an ad-free experience. But while those features may sound appealing, Neeva isn’t the best choice for everyone. Here are some reasons why you might want to pass on this new search engine and stick with the tried-and-true options.

  1. Limited search results

One of the biggest drawbacks of Neeva is that it doesn’t have the massive index of other search engines like Google or Bing. That means you may not find the information you’re looking for, especially when it comes to less popular or niche topics. Because Neeva doesn’t track your search history, it can’t rely on your past queries to provide more personalized results, which can make it difficult to find what you need.

  1. Limited language options

Neeva only supports English-language searches, which may not be a problem if you’re a native speaker. But if you’re looking for information in a language other than English, this search engine isn’t the best choice.

  1. Limited features

Neeva is a pretty basic search engine, without some of the advanced features you might be used to from Google or other options. For example, Neeva doesn’t support “search operators” like “site:” or “inurl:”. If you’re used to using these to refine your search results, you may find Neeva frustratingly limited.

  1. Limited sources

Neeva relies on a relatively small number of sources for its search results, which can limit the breadth and depth of the information you find. While the search engine claims to use AI and machine learning to provide more relevant results, it’s hard to beat the sheer volume of information available on larger search engines.

  1. Limited support

Another issue with Neeva is that it’s a relatively new search engine, which means that there may be bugs and other issues that haven’t been worked out yet. While the company promises customer service that responds to inquiries within 24 hours, there’s no guarantee that they’ll be able to help you with specific issues you encounter.
