Snapchat is one of the most popular social media platforms today, especially among millennials and Gen Z users. It allows users to share photos and videos with their friends and followers, and also provides a feature called ‘My Eyes Only’ which lets them keep certain snaps private and secure. In this article, we will discuss how to get ‘My Eyes Only’ on Snapchat Account.

Step 1: Update your Snapchat App

To access ‘My Eyes Only’ on your Snapchat account, you need to make sure that you have the latest version of the Snapchat app. You can check whether you have the latest version or not by going to the app store on your smartphone (Google Play Store for Android users or App Store for iOS users) and searching for Snapchat. If an update is available, download and install it.

Step 2: Create a passcode

Once you have updated the app, you can create a passcode for your ‘My Eyes Only’ section. This passcode will be used to access any snaps that you have saved in this section. To create a passcode, follow these steps:

a) Open the Snapchat app and swipe down from the camera screen to access your profile.

b) Tap on the ‘Settings’ button (gear icon) located in the top right corner.

c) Scroll down to find the ‘My Account’ section and tap on ‘My Eyes Only.’

d) Enable ‘My Eyes Only’ by sliding the switch to the right.

e) Create a passcode by following the instructions on the screen.

f) Once you have created your passcode, you need to confirm it by entering it again.

Step 3: Add snaps to ‘My Eyes Only’

Now that you have set up ‘My Eyes Only’ and created a passcode, you can start adding snaps to this section.

a) Open Snapchat and swipe down from the camera screen to access your profile.

b) Tap on the ‘Settings’ button (gear icon) located in the top right corner.

c) Scroll down to find the ‘My Account’ section and tap on ‘My Eyes Only.’

d) Tap on the ‘+’ button located in the top right corner.

e) Select the snaps that you wish to add to ‘My Eyes Only’ and tap on the ‘Save’ button.

f) Once you have added snaps to ‘My Eyes Only,’ they will be hidden from your memories, and only you can access them with your passcode.

Step 4: Remove snaps from ‘My Eyes Only’

If you ever need to remove a snap from ‘My Eyes Only,’ follow these steps:

a) Open Snapchat and swipe down from the camera screen to access your profile.

b) Tap on the ‘Settings’ button (gear icon) located in the top right corner.

c) Scroll down to find the ‘My Account’ section and tap on ‘My Eyes Only.’

d) Select the snap that you wish to remove from ‘My Eyes Only.’

e) Tap on the ‘Trash’ icon located in the bottom right corner.

f) Confirm that you want to remove the snap from ‘My Eyes Only.’

Conclusion:

In conclusion, ‘My Eyes Only’ is an excellent feature to keep certain snaps private and secure. With the steps mentioned above, you can easily set up ‘My Eyes Only’ on your Snapchat account and keep your personal snaps hidden from others. Don’t forget to create a strong and unique passcode to ensure that no one else can access your private snaps.
