Introduction:

Discovering rare and powerful Pokémon has always been one of the most exciting aspects of the Pokémon game series. In the latest installment, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players have the opportunity to find and capture the elusive False Dragon Titan. This article will guide you through the process, providing tips and strategies to ensure a successful encounter.

Step 1: Prepare Your Team

Before setting out on your quest, make sure your team is well-prepared for the challenges ahead. The False Dragon Titan is a challenging foe, capable of dealing massive damage with its powerful moves. Ensure your Pokémon are at least level 60, with diverse types and movesets, including strong Ice, Fairy, or Fighting-type attacks to exploit its weaknesses.

Step 2: Obtain the Dragon Eye Lens

To find the False Dragon Titan, you must first obtain a special item called the “Dragon Eye Lens.” This item can be found in Sapphire Cove after completing an underwater dive quest from a fisherman in Azure Harbor Town. Completing this quest will grant you the Dragon Eye Lens as a reward.

Step 3: Locate the Dragon’s Den

With the Dragon Eye Lens in your inventory, travel to Obsidian Mountain located north of Amethyst City. Once there, navigate your way through several challenging cave puzzles and trainers until you reach a hidden chamber – The Dragon’s Den. Equipping the Dragon Eye Lens will reveal an entrance to this mysterious chamber.

Step 4: Solve The Riddle

Inside the Dragon’s Den is an ancient tablet with a riddle inscribed on it.

“The flame that burns brightest lies within,

The heart of ice conceals an ancient kin.

Defeat fire with ice and time will bend,

Let lightning strike thrice upon its end.”

To solve this riddle:

1. Set up your campfire near the tablet

2. Use a Pokémon with an Ice-type move to quench the fire

3. Interact with the tablet using a Pokémon that knows Thunder or Thunderbolt three times in a row

After completing these steps, the True Dragon Altar will reveal itself.

Step 5: Challenge the False Dragon Titan

At the True Dragon Altar, save your game before interacting with the altar. Once initiated, you will be thrown into battle against the formidable False Dragon Titan. Utilize your strongest Ice, Fairy, and Fighting-type attacks to take advantage of its vulnerabilities.

Step 6: Capture the False Dragon Titan

Once the False Dragon Titan’s health is low, start throwing Ultra Balls or even more powerful capture techniques like Timer Balls or Dusk Balls if engaged in battle at night. Be patient and persistent; it may take several attempts to successfully capture this elusive Pokémon.

Conclusion:

Finding and capturing the False Dragon Titan is a challenging yet rewarding endeavor in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. By carefully preparing your team, obtaining the Dragon Eye Lens, and navigating caves adorned with puzzles, you will emerge victorious in one of the most captivating quests in the game series. Good luck on your journey and happy hunting!
