With tab groups, you can keep similar tabs in one place, which helps to streamline your browsing experience. In this article, we’ll show you how to create, manage, and disable tab groups in Chrome on Android.
Creating Tab Groups
To create a tab group in Chrome on Android, follow these steps:
1. Open Chrome on your Android device.
2. Long-press on any open tab to select it and then tap “Add to new group”.
3. You’ll see a colored dot appear next to the tab.
4. To add other tabs to the same group, long-press on each tab and then tap “Add to group” and select the same colored dot. You can also select “Add to new group” to create another group.
Managing Tab Groups
Once you’ve created tab groups, you can easily manage them. Here are some tips to help you manage your tab groups:
1. Rename a Tab Group: To rename a group, long-press on the colored dot, tap “Edit group”, and then enter a new name. Tap “Save” to save the changes.
2. Move Tabs Between Groups: To move a tab from one group to another, long-press on the tab and then select “Move to group”. Choose the group you want to move the tab to and then tap “Move”.
