How Does Snapchat Score Work? How to Increase Your Score

Snapchat is one of the most popular social media apps of this generation, with millions of users around the world. It’s a fun platform that allows users to send photos and videos that disappear after being viewed. But, what is Snapchat Score, and how does it work? In this article, we’ll answer those questions and provide tips on how to increase your score.

What is Snapchat Score?

Snapchat Score is a numerical value that represents how active you are on the platform. It’s a combination of the number of snaps you’ve sent and received, as well as the stories you’ve posted. It’s not something that is publicly displayed on your Snapchat profile, but you can see your own score by swiping down on the camera screen and tapping on your Bitmoji.

How Does Snapchat Score Work?

Snapchat Score is calculated by adding up the points you’ve earned from sending and receiving snaps, as well as posting stories. For each snap you send, you get one point, and for each snap you receive, you get one point. Your score also increases when you post a story, with one point being awarded for each snap you add to your story.

However, it’s worth noting that the exact algorithm used to calculate Snapchat Score is kept private by the app developers. So, the number of points may vary depending on the length of the snap and the unique features you use, such as filters, lenses, and emojis.

How to Increase Your Snapchat Score

Here are some tips to help you increase your Snapchat Score:

1. Send and receive more snaps: The most obvious way to increase your Snapchat Score is to send and receive more snaps. The more snaps you send, the more points you will earn, and the more snaps you receive, the more points you will accumulate.

2. Post stories regularly: Another easy way to increase your score is by posting stories regularly. Since each snap you add to your story earns you one point, the more stories you post, the more points you will earn.

3. Use Snapchat features: Using the various features of Snapchat, such as filters, lenses, and emojis, can also help you increase your score. These features are not only fun to use, but they also add a little extra something to your snaps, making them more engaging.

4. Stay active on Snapchat: Finally, the key to consistently increasing your Snapchat Score is to remain active on the app. By using Snapchat daily and sending and receiving snaps regularly, you’ll see your score steadily increase over time.
