Google Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max are two of the most popular smart display devices in the market today. While they may look similar at first glance, there are several differences when it comes to their features, design, and overall performance. In this article, we will take a closer look at the Google Nest Hub vs. Nest Hub Max: What are the differences?

Design

The Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max have a very similar design. They both feature a display screen mounted on a compact, fabric-covered base. The main difference in design is the size of the screens. The Nest Hub has a 7-inch display, while the Nest Hub Max boasts a larger 10-inch display. Additionally, the Nest Hub Max has a built-in camera and a microphone array that can pick up voice commands from across the room.

Features

One of the main differences between the two devices is the addition of a camera on the Nest Hub Max. This camera allows users to make video calls with Google Duo, as well as use the device as a smart security camera to monitor their homes while they are away. The camera can also recognize faces and provide personalized information, such as calendar events, commute times, and news updates.

Both devices also come with Google Assistant built-in and can perform a wide variety of tasks, such as setting alarms, creating to-do lists, playing music and videos, and controlling other smart home devices. The Nest Hub Max has a more powerful speaker than the Nest Hub, making it a better choice for music enthusiasts.

Price

The Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max are priced differently, with the Nest Hub Max being the more expensive option. The Nest Hub is priced at around $90, while the Nest Hub Max is priced at around $230. The higher price point of the Nest Hub Max is justified by its larger screen, better speaker, and additional camera features.
