Vizio is a popular brand of televisions that offers excellent picture quality and a ton of features. But, what if you lost your remote or the batteries died? You might be wondering how to turn on your Vizio TV without a remote. In this article, we’ll guide you on how to turn on a Vizio TV without a remote.

Method 1: Use the Power Button on the TV

Most Vizio TV sets have a power button located on the back of the television. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the TV turns on. This might take a few seconds before the TV turns on, make sure to hold the power button until you see the Vizio logo on the screen.

Method 2: Use the Mobile Device

If you have the Vizio SmartCast app installed on your mobile device, you can use it to turn on your Vizio TV. Ensure that the mobile device and the TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Here’s how to use your mobile device:

Step 1: Open the Vizio SmartCast app on your mobile device.

Step 2: Tap on the power icon in the center of the screen.

Step 3: From the device list, select your Vizio TV.

Step 4: Tap the “Power On” option.

Method 3: Connect to a Bluetooth Speaker

Most Vizio TVs have a built-in speaker. If you have a Bluetooth speaker connected to your TV, you can turn on the TV remotely by turning on the Bluetooth speaker.

Here’s how to turn on your Vizio TV using a Bluetooth speaker:

Step 1: Ensure that the Bluetooth speaker is turned on.

Step 2: Press and hold the power button on the Bluetooth speaker.

Step 3: Your Vizio TV should turn on automatically.

Method 4: Use a Universal Remote

A universal remote can be programmed to control your Vizio TV. Most universal remotes have a feature for finding the right code to use based on the TV’s model or brand.

Here’s how to use a universal remote:

Step 1: Turn on the universal remote.

Step 2: Press the “TV” button.

Step 3: Press and hold the “Set” or “Code Search” button on the remote until the LED light blinks.

Step 4: Find the correct code for your Vizio TV from the universal remote manual.

Step 5: Enter the code and wait for the LED light on the remote to turn off.

Step 6: Press the power button on the universal remote, and the TV should turn on.

In conclusion, these are four ways to turn on your Vizio TV without a remote. Whether you use the power button on the TV, your mobile device, a Bluetooth speaker, or a universal remote, you can still power on your Vizio TV without a remote. If you experience any issues, check the TV’s manual or contact Vizio support.
