Artificial Intelligence is the Future of Corporate Education

Artificial intelligence is steadily making its way into the traditional classroom setting, but what about in corporate America? Employees are constantly giving continuing education lectures, seminars, and classes. At the moment, it seems like few of them take advantage of the artificial intelligence platforms that could better engage workers. Don’t be surprised to find that this technological advancement is going to play a key role in the future of corporate education.

On a recent study from the Boston Consulting Group and MIT Sloan Management Review, 83 percent of executives believe that artificial intelligence is a strategic priority for their business. If you aren’t certain what artificial intelligence can offer a contemporary workplace, it’s time to find out why upper management might decide to make the switch.

Artificial intelligence is more productive than classroom settings.

When you host a class, that means all of the necessary employees must be dragged away from their daily responsibilities in order to attend. A training that’s hosted in multiple sessions still pares down the workforce considerably while they take turns learning the new material with the trainer. By using online training modules, employees can remain at their desks and still engage the material thoroughly. The flexibility allows them to choose a time where they won’t be preoccupied with phone calls, other meetings, or paperwork that can all serve as a distraction.

Training results and outcomes are measured more easily.

Do you ever wonder how much information your employees retain from a specific course? With artificial intelligence, you can use the built-in testing mechanisms to judge just how focused your workers are on the content. This standard for successful measurement of outcomes is a part of why artificial intelligence is so attractive for the corporate workplace. This data can be used to continue motivating employees through inner-office rankings. It could also be used to identify which workers meet the criteria for a promotion.

Training boosts productivity.

One of the most important aspects of training is that it is well-known for boosting overall productivity in the workplace. According to the research, every dollar a company invests in more training for their workers yields a $30 productivity increase. Artificial intelligence allows managers and executives to issue more training at a significantly lower cost. These online modules are better for employees and still contribute to the overall well-being of the company.

Artificial intelligence could lead to better employee retention rates.

Workers want to know how to perform their jobs with excellence, but they often require continued education to stay at the front of their field. Managers can’t continuously encourage employees to take entire days away from their work in the interest of corporate training. However, they can make digital learning with artificial intelligence available at a worker’s convenience. Given that forty percent of all employees who receive little training leave their position in the first year, executives could mitigate these losses with artificial intelligence and associated modules.

Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming the realistic face for corporate America. Training using this method is much more effective and has measurable outcomes that help executives to make better decisions for the company as a whole. These are just a few of the positive ways that executives could make excellent use of this growing technology with their workforce.
