How to Get New Emojis on Android

Emojis, the cute and expressive images used in messaging and social media, have become an essential part of our online communication. Android users can have access to hundreds of emojis, but what if you want even more options? Here are a few ways you can get new emojis on your Android device.

1. Update Your Android System

Before we dive into third-party options, it’s worth checking if you have the latest Android update. New emojis are usually added with these updates. To check for updates, go to Settings > System > Software update. If an update is available, download and install it, and you’ll likely see new emojis added to your keyboard.

2. Use a Third-Party Keyboard

The keyboard app that comes with your Android device may not have a vast selection of emojis, but you can use a third-party keyboard to access new emojis. Some popular options include Gboard, SwiftKey, and Emoji Switcher.

Gboard, for example, has a wide variety of emojis that can be accessed by tapping the “Globe” icon on the keyboard. To install Gboard, go to the Google Play Store, search for “Gboard,” and then download and install the app. Once it’s installed, go to Settings > System > Language & input, and select Gboard as the default keyboard.

3. Install an Emoji App

There are apps available on the Google Play Store that offer new emojis for Android users. These apps provide a range of emojis that can be used in messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Facebook Messenger. Some popular options include Emoji Keyboard and Emoji Fonts for FlipFont 10.
Emoji Keyboard is a great option for users who want to access a wide range of emojis. It has over 3,000 emojis, including animated emojis, and it supports multiple languages. Once you’ve installed the app, it will show up as a keyboard on your device.

Emoji Fonts for FlipFont 10 is another app that provides different fonts and emojis for Android users. It requires a bit more work to set up, but it’s a great option for users who want to customize their device’s fonts and emojis.
