As the popularity of Raspberry Pi continues to grow, a shortage of the popular single-board computer has arisen. This shortage can be attributed to several factors, including the ongoing chip shortage and an increase in demand for Raspberry Pi due to remote learning and working. If you are unable to purchase a Raspberry Pi, there are several alternatives that can help you complete your projects. Here are four Raspberry Pi alternatives to consider:

1. BeagleBoard-X15

The BeagleBoard-X15 is a single-board computer that features a 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A15 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and support for Gigabit Ethernet. It also features a wide range of connectivity options such as USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, and built-in Wi-Fi. While it is more expensive than a Raspberry Pi, the BeagleBoard-X15 is still a viable alternative for those in need of additional processing power and connectivity options.

2. Odroid XU4

The Odroid XU4 is another single-board computer that features a 2GHz ARM Cortex-A15 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and support for Gigabit Ethernet. It also features a 2.0 USB port, HDMI, and built-in eMMC storage. The Odroid XU4 is more affordable than the BeagleBoard-X15 and is considered one of the most powerful Raspberry Pi alternatives.

3. ASUS Tinker Board

The ASUS Tinker Board is a single-board computer that features a 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A17 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and support for Gigabit Ethernet. It also features HDMI, USB 3.0, and built-in Wi-Fi. The Tinker Board is designed to be compatible with Raspberry Pi projects and utilizes the same GPIO header layout.

4. NanoPi M4

The NanoPi M4 is a single-board computer that features a 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A72 CPU, 4GB of RAM, and support for Gigabit Ethernet. It also features HDMI, USB 3.0, and built-in Wi-Fi. The NanoPi M4 is similar in specification to the Odroid XU4, just with a newer processor.
