How Does BeReal Make Money?

BeReal is a social platform that allows people to share their thoughts, experiences, and opinions anonymously. With its growing popularity, many have been curious about how BeReal makes money and whether the app is sustainable in the long run. In this article, we will explore how BeReal generates income and its sources of revenue.

The primary source of income for BeReal is advertising. The app allows businesses to create sponsored posts to promote their products or services to the platform’s users. These sponsored posts appear in the app’s feed and are tagged as “Sponsored.” Advertisers pay BeReal a fee to display their posts on the app, and BeReal earns revenue from these fees.

In addition to sponsored posts, BeReal also generates revenue through partnerships with other apps and websites. For instance, it has collaborated with dating apps to offer users dating-related content and advice. BeReal earns a commission from these partnerships, which contributes to its revenue stream.

Furthermore, BeReal recently launched a feature called BeReal Plus, which is a subscription-based service. It offers users access to additional app features such as the ability to filter posts based on location and interests, the option to change usernames, and the ability to see who viewed their profile. BeReal Plus has a free trial period of seven days, after which users are charged a monthly fee. The revenue generated from BeReal Plus contributes to the platform’s revenue stream.

Lastly, BeReal’s monetization strategy also includes data analytics. The data generated by users’ interactions with the app is valuable to businesses that want to understand their target audience. This data is anonymized, analyzed, and sold to businesses to help them optimize their marketing strategies.

In conclusion, BeReal generates income from a combination of advertising, partnerships, a subscription-based service, and data analytics. In this way, the app remains sustainable and can continue to provide its users with a platform to express themselves freely and anonymously. As the platform continues to grow, it is expected that BeReal will continue to explore new and innovative ways to generate revenue.
