Are you tired of staring at the same old Windows 10 login screen every time you start up your computer? Luckily, it’s easy to change! With just a few simple steps, you can customize your login screen and make it more personal and appealing. Here’s how:

Step 1: Choose a new background image

The first step in changing your Windows 10 login screen is to choose a new background image. You can either use one of the pre-installed images that come with Windows 10 or choose your own. To choose a pre-installed image, go to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen and select one of the available options. Alternatively, you can click “Browse” and choose a picture from your computer.

Step 2: Disable Windows 10 spotlight feature

If you want to ensure that your chosen background image is always displayed on your login screen, you’ll need to disable the Windows 10 spotlight feature. This feature displays a different image every time you log in, which can override your chosen image. To disable it, go to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen and toggle off the “Get fun facts, tips, and more from Windows and Cortana on your lock screen.”

Step 3: Download and install a third-party app

To fully customize your Windows 10 login screen, you’ll need to download and install a third-party app such as Windows 10 Login Background Changer. This free tool allows you to change the background image, color, and transparency of your login screen, as well as add your own custom message.

Step 4: Open the third-party app and make your changes

Once you’ve installed the third-party app of your choice, open it and make your changes. You can choose a new background color or image, adjust the transparency of the login screen, and even add a custom message. Experiment with different settings until you find the look that you like.

Step 5: Save your changes and log out

Once you’ve made your changes, click “Save” and then log out of your computer. When you log back in, you should see your new customized login screen.

In conclusion, changing your Windows 10 login screen is a quick and easy way to personalize your computer and make it more appealing. With just a few simple steps, you can choose a new background image, disable the spotlight feature, and download a third-party app to make further changes. Give it a try and make your computer truly your own!
