Sharing a private YouTube video may seem like a complicated process, but it’s actually quite simple. Private videos can be shared with specific people, making it a great option for sharing videos that you don’t want to be shared with a larger audience. Below are the steps to share a private YouTube video.

Step 1: Sign in to YouTube

Sign in to your YouTube account on the top right corner of the page.

Step 2: Go to Creator Studio

Once you’re signed in, click on your profile picture and select “Creator Studio” from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Select Videos

From the menu on the left-hand side of the page, select “Videos.”

Step 4: Select the private video

Find the private video you want to share and click on its title.

Step 5: Click on the Share button

Once you’ve opened the video, click on the “Share” button located below the video player.

Step 6: Set access level to “Private”

In the share window, make sure the access level is set to “Private.”

Step 7: Enter the email addresses

Enter the email addresses of the people you want to share the video with.

Step 8: Add a message

Add a message to the email, asking the recipient to check out the video.

Step 9: Preview email notification

Preview the email notification to ensure that the recipients will be able to access the video.

Step 10: Click on “Send”

Click on the “Send” button to send the email notification to the recipients.

Overall, sharing a private YouTube video is a simple process that requires just a few steps. Whether you’re sharing sensitive information or just want to share a video with a select group of people, this method will get the job done. Just remember to set the video to “Private” before sharing, as this will ensure that only the people you want to share it with will be able to view it.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
