With millions of active users, Facebook is one of the biggest social media platforms in the world. It’s quite easy to use and provides a platform for users to share their thoughts, photos, and other information with friends and family. However, it’s not always easy to recover deleted Facebook messages. If you’ve been wondering how to recover deleted Facebook messages, then you’re in the right place, as we shall discuss it in detail in this article.

Why Do People Delete Facebook Messages?

Many reasons make people delete Facebook messages. Some people delete messages because they believe they are no longer important, others do it accidentally or intentionally, while others just want to get rid of old messages that no longer matter. Whatever the reason, recovering deleted messages on Facebook can be quite challenging, especially if you don’t know how to do it.

Methods for Recovering Deleted Messages on Facebook

The following are some methods you can use to recover deleted Facebook messages.

Method 1: Check Archives

Facebook automatically archives messages that are more than 30 days old. You can check your message archives to recover your deleted Facebook messages. Here are the steps to follow.

1. Log in to your Facebook account.

2. Click on the message icon located in the top right corner.

3. Click on ‘See All’ at the bottom of the message list.

4. On the left side, click on ‘More’ and select ‘Archived’ from the drop-down menu.

5. Your archived messages will appear.

6. Click on ‘Unarchive’ to retrieve the deleted messages.

Method 2: Use Facebook Messenger Recovery Tool

Facebook Messenger Recovery Tool is a third-party tool available online that can help you recover deleted Facebook messages. Here’s how to use it.

1. Open your web browser and search for ‘Facebook Messenger Recovery Tool.’

2. Select a trusted tool from the search results.

3. Enter your Facebook login details as required.

4. The tool will scan your Facebook account and display all deleted messages.

5. Select the messages you want to recover and click on ‘Recover.’

6. You’ll receive a confirmation message when the process is done.

Method 3: Use Third-Party Data Recovery Software

You can also use third-party data recovery software to retrieve deleted Facebook messages. There are many data recovery software programs online that can help you recover deleted Facebook messages. Here’s how to use them.

1. Search online for third-party data recovery software.

2. Select a reputable tool from the search results.

3. Download and install the software on your computer.

4. Follow the program’s instructions to scan your device.

5. The software will display a list of deleted files, including Facebook messages.

6. Select the messages you want to recover and proceed.

7. The messages will be retrieved and saved to your computer.
