The PlayStation 5 DualSense controller is an integral component of the PS5 console. It provides a unique gaming experience with its advanced features and innovative design. However, there may be occasions when you need to pair your DualSense controller with a new device, such as a computer, phone, or tablet. In this article, we will guide you through the process of putting your PS5 DualSense controller into pairing mode.

Step 1: Turn Off Your PS5 Console

The first step in putting your DualSense controller into pairing mode is to turn off your PS5 console. Press and hold the power button on the front of your console until it beeps twice and turns off.

Step 2: Press and Hold the PS Button and Create Button

Next, locate the PS button and the Create button on your DualSense controller. Press and hold both buttons simultaneously until the light bar on your controller begins to flash blue. This indicates that your controller is now in pairing mode.

Step 3: Connect Your DualSense Controller to Your Device

Once your controller is in pairing mode, you should connect it to your device. The process may vary depending on the device you are connecting to, but typically, you should go to your device’s Bluetooth settings and look for the option to pair a new device. Select “DualSense Wireless Controller” and wait for the connection to be established.

Step 4: Test Your DualSense Controller

Once your DualSense controller is connected to your device, it’s time to test it. Open a game or application, and use your controller to navigate or play. If your device supports haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, you should notice a significant improvement in your gaming experience.

Conclusion

Putting your PS5 DualSense controller into pairing mode is a relatively simple process that you can do in a few steps. Remember, you need to turn off your PS5 console, press and hold the PS button and Create button, connect your controller to your device, and test it to ensure it’s working correctly. With your DualSense controller paired with your device, you can enjoy an immersive gaming experience anywhere, anytime.
