Introduction:

Cornflour slime is a popular and fun activity for both children and adults. This non-toxic, easy-to-make substance provides hours of entertainment and is perfect for sensory play or stress relief. In this article, we will explore five different ways to make cornflour slime, using various ingredients and techniques.

1. Classic Cornflour Slime:

Ingredients:

– 1 cup cornflour

– 1/2 cup water

– Food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

Pour the cornflour into a large mixing bowl. Gradually add water while stirring, until you achieve a smooth consistency. Mix in a few drops of food coloring if desired. Have fun playing with your classic cornflour slime!

2. Glowing Cornflour Slime:

Ingredients:

– 1 cup cornflour

– 1/2 cup tonic water

– Blacklight

Instructions:

Mix the cornflour and tonic water until you reach a smooth consistency. Turn off the lights and illuminate the slime with a blacklight—the quinine in the tonic water will cause it to glow under UV light.

3. Scented Cornflour Slime:

Ingredients:

– 1 cup cornflour

– 1/2 cup water

– Food coloring (optional)

– Essential oils (such as lavender, mint, or lemon)

Instructions:

Prepare the slime using the classic recipe by combining cornflour, water, and food coloring in a large mixing bowl. Add in a few drops of your favorite essential oil(s), mixing well to distribute throughout the slime.

4. Sparkling Cornflour Slime:

Ingredients:

– 1 cup cornflour

– 1/2 cup water

– Food coloring (optional)

– Glitter

Instructions:

Combine cornflour, water, and food coloring in a large mixing bowl to create the basic slime. Add in glitter, making sure to mix well so that it is evenly distributed. Enjoy your sparkling cornflour slime!

5. Fluffy Cornflour Slime:

Ingredients:

– 1 cup cornflour

– 1 cup shaving cream

– Food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine cornflour and shaving cream until smooth. Add food coloring if desired, and mix until evenly distributed. Your fluffy cornflour slime is ready for play!

Conclusion:

With just a few simple ingredients, you can make an array of different types of cornflour slime. Whether you want classic, scented, glowing, sparkling, or fluffy—there’s a recipe for everyone. These non-toxic concoctions provide endless entertainment and are perfect for sensory play or stress relief. So grab some cornflour and get ready to experience the gooey delight of homemade slime!
