Are you having trouble getting your depth effect wallpaper to work on your iPhone? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Many users have been facing this issue, but luckily, there are some easy solutions to fix it. In this article, we’ll go over the top 6 ways to fix depth effect wallpaper not working on iPhone.

1. Check if Your iPhone Supports Depth Effect Wallpaper

Before trying any solutions, you need to make sure that your iPhone supports depth effect wallpaper. This feature is available on iPhone models from the iPhone 7 Plus to the newer models. If you have an older iPhone, it’s possible that your device doesn’t support this feature, and as a result, the depth effect wallpaper won’t work.

2. Check Your Wallpaper Setting

The first thing you need to do is to check your wallpaper settings. To do this, go to “Settings” on your iPhone, and then select “Wallpaper.” From there, choose “Choose a New Wallpaper” and select the image you want to use as your wallpaper. Make sure to select “Still” as the wallpaper type, as depth effect wallpaper only works in this mode.

3. Disable Reduce Motion

Another reason why depth effect wallpaper may not be working on your iPhone is if the “Reduce Motion” function is enabled. This feature is accessible from the “Accessibility” menu in the “Settings” app. If it’s turned on, it can affect the depth effect wallpaper’s performance. So, make sure to turn off “Reduce Motion” and check if the depth effect wallpaper works.

4. Restart Your iPhone

If your depth effect wallpaper still isn’t working, try restarting your iPhone. This can help clear any background processes that are interfering with the camera app. To restart your iPhone, press and hold the power button until a slider appears to shut down your iPhone. Once it shuts down, press and hold the power button again until the Apple logo appears.

5. Update Your iPhone

It’s vital to keep your iPhone’s operating system up-to-date as it can solve many bugs and glitches. If your depth effect wallpaper isn’t working, you should also consider updating your iPhone’s software. To update your iPhone, go to “Settings,” “General,” and “Software Update.” If a software update is available, download and install it.

6. Restore Your iPhone

If none of the above solutions have worked, you might need to restore your iPhone to its factory settings. This should be your final resort as restoring your iPhone will erase all your saved data, including music, contacts, and photos. To restore your iPhone, go to “Settings,” “General,” “Reset,” and choose “Erase All Content and Settings.” Before doing this, it’s essential to backup your iPhone to iCloud or iTunes.
