Samsung’s One UI 5 is finally here, and it’s packed with amazing features that will transform your Samsung smartphone experience. With One UI 5, Samsung has refined and enhanced its existing features while introducing new ones that will blow your mind. Here are eight of the best features you need to try on your Samsung phone.

  1. Enhanced Dark Mode

Dark Mode on Samsung One UI 5 has been taken up a notch. It’s now deeper black and easier on the eyes, with lower brightness levels that reduce harmful blue light. Moreover, you can now schedule Dark Mode based on your time zone, making it easier to adjust to different lighting conditions throughout the day.

  1. New App Tray Layout

One UI 5 has introduced a new app tray layout that’s more accessible and user-friendly. The app tray now shows more details about each app and allows easier navigation between apps. You can also customize the app tray layout to suit your preferences.

  1. Multi-Tasking Improvements

Samsung has made it easier to multi-task on your Samsung phone with One UI 5. The multi-window feature has been upgraded, allowing you to open up to three apps simultaneously. You can also drag-and-drop data between apps, making it easier to move text, images, and files from one app to another.

  1. Revamped Volume Controls

With One UI 5, Samsung has completely revamped the volume controls. You now have better control over how you adjust the volume by using the new Volume Panel interface. It’s intuitive, user-friendly, and gives you precise control over the volume for different types of media.

  1. Updated Camera Features

The One UI 5 update brings new camera features to Samsung phones. For example, you can now capture slow-motion videos with up to 360fps, record 4K videos with the front camera, and use the ‘Audio Zoom’ feature to focus on a specific sound. Also, Samsung has introduced a better interface for the camera app that’s more user-friendly.

  1. New Quick Settings Panel

The Quick Settings panel on One UI 5 has been completely overhauled. You now have more customization options, allowing you to add or remove Quick Settings toggles according to your preferences. The new interface is more intuitive, with better typography and iconography that’s easier to read and understand.

  1. Improved Lock Screen

One UI 5 also brings enhancements to the lock screen. You can now customize the lock screen by adding your own photos or selecting from a range of aesthetic wallpapers. Also, you can now access your notifications directly from the lock screen, making it more convenient to stay on top of your incoming messages and alerts.

  1. Better Battery Life

One UI 5 comes with improved battery life, thanks to optimizations that reduce battery consumption. Samsung has also introduced a new Battery Saver feature that helps extend your phone’s battery life even further. The feature reduces background activity, lowers screen brightness, and restricts the use of certain apps to save battery juice.
