Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor those who have given their lives in service to our country. It’s also the perfect opportunity to gather with friends and family to enjoy delicious food. Here are some easy and mouth-watering recipes for your Memorial Day celebration in 2021.

Appetizers:

1. Red, White & Blue Fruit Skewers:

Thread blueberries, feta cheese cubes, and sliced strawberries onto wooden skewers for a colorful and tasty starter.

2. Buffalo Chicken Dip:

Combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and cheddar cheese in a baking dish. Bake until bubbly and serve with chips or veggies for dipping.

3. Caprese Salad Bites:

Assemble grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, and basil leaves on toothpicks. Drizzle with balsamic glaze for a simple yet elegant appetizer.

Main Courses:

1. Classic BBQ Ribs:

Rub your favorite barbeque sauce on pork ribs and slow-cook them on the grill for a few hours until tender.

2. Grilled Veggie Skewers:

Marinate vegetables like bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs before grilling for an easy side or vegetarian main dish.

3. All-American Burgers:

Grill juicy beef patties with your choice of toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese, or bacon slices. You can even make a vegetarian-friendly version using veggie burgers or portobello mushrooms.
Desserts:

1. Mixed Berry Trifle:

Layer cubed pound cake pieces with mixed berries and whipped cream in a glass bowl for an impressive yet simple dessert that showcases the season’s bounty.

2. S’mores Dip:

Pour melted chocolate chips and marshmallow fluff into a skillet or baking dish. Top with graham crackers for your guests to dip and enjoy a taste of their favorite campfire treat.

3. No-Bake Lemon Cheesecake Bars:

Arrange a graham cracker crust in a baking dish and top with a creamy lemon cheesecake filling made of cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and lemon juice. Chill until set and cut into bars for an easy and refreshing dessert.

With these easy and tasty recipes, your Memorial Day gathering will be one to remember. Whether you’re hosting a small family cookout or a larger party, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy as we honor those who have served our country.
