Introduction:

Cauliflower wings are a mouth-watering and healthy alternative to traditional chicken wings. They make for an excellent party appetizer or game-day snack and can be savored by vegetarians and vegans alike! This article will walk you through a simple and delicious Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Wings recipe.

Ingredients:

– 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

– 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

– 1 cup almond milk or another plant-based milk of your choice

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 2 cups panko breadcrumbs

– 3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce

– 1 tbsp vegan butter, melted (optional)

– Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat the oven and prepare the baking sheet.

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2: Create the batter.

Combine the all-purpose flour, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Whisk together until smooth and well-combined.

Step 3: Coat the cauliflower florets.

Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it’s well-coated on all sides. Next, roll each battered floret in panko breadcrumbs for added crunch. Arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 4: Bake the first round.

Bake the coated cauliflower florets in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until they become golden brown and crispy.

Step 5: Create the buffalo sauce.

In a separate bowl, mix together your buffalo wing sauce and melted vegan butter.

Step 6: Apply the buffalo sauce.

Carefully remove the cauliflower wings from the oven and coat them evenly with the buffalo sauce using a brush or by tossing them in the sauce. Place them back onto the baking sheet.

Step 7: Bake the second round.

Return your cauliflower wings into the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the edges look crispy and they’ve achieved your desired level of doneness.

Step 8: Cool, garnish, and serve.

Allow your baked buffalo cauliflower wings to cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh cilantro or parsley (if desired). Serve them with a side of your favorite vegan ranch dressing or blue cheese dip, and enjoy!

Conclusion:

That’s it! With this simple Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Wings recipe, you can whip up a scrumptious treat that’ll please everyone at your next gathering. They’re sure to impress, and with minimal effort involved, you’ll find yourself making them over and over again. Happy cooking!
