Man and His Dog Dead After Hit and Run
A tragic hit-and-run incident occurred early Wednesday morning in Santa Cruz. A man and his dog were struck by a vehicle while walking near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Eddy Lane. The driver fled the scene, and both the man and his dog were pronounced dead at the scene. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident and seeking information from the public.
