With the rise of social media, Instagram has become one of the most popular platforms used by millions of people around the world. One of the features that makes this platform so useful is Instagram Live. With Instagram Live, you can broadcast to your followers in real-time, creating an immersive experience that lets you connect and engage with them in a more meaningful way.

However, if you’re someone who prefers watching live videos on a bigger screen or simply wants to watch Instagram Live broadcasts on your computer or TV, you might be wondering how to do this. In this article, we’ll take you through how to watch Instagram Live from a computer or TV with ease.

Watch Instagram Live from a Computer

Watching an Instagram Live broadcast from your computer is a simple process and can be done in just a few steps. Follow these easy steps to watch Instagram Live from your computer:

Step 1: Open your web browser and go to instagram.com.

Step 2: If you haven’t logged in to Instagram yet, enter your login details and click on “Log In.”

Step 3: Once you are logged in, go to the Instagram profile of the user you want to watch live.

Step 4: If the user is already live or has a live broadcast scheduled, you’ll see a colored circle around their Instagram profile picture with the word “Live” on it.

Step 5: Click on their profile picture, and you’ll be redirected to their Live video. You can interact with them via the comments section or just sit back and enjoy the show.

Watch Instagram Live from a TV

If you have a smart TV, you can easily stream Instagram Live broadcasts by following these steps:

Step 1: Turn on your smart TV.

Step 2: Search for the Instagram app on your TV and open it.

Step 3: Log in to your Instagram account.

Step 4: Navigate to the profile of the user you want to watch live.

Step 5: If they are currently live or have a live broadcast scheduled, click on their profile picture to start streaming the live video.

Watch Instagram Live with Third-party Apps

If you don’t have a smart TV, you can still watch Instagram Live broadcasts using third-party apps that allow you to stream content from your phone to your TV. Some of the popular apps include Chromecast, Apple TV, or Roku, among others.

Here’s how to watch Instagram Live using Chromecast, for instance:

Step 1: Download the Google Home app on your phone.

Step 2: Connect your phone and Chromecast to the same Wi-Fi network.

Step 3: Open Instagram and navigate to the profile of the user you want to watch live.

Step 4: Click on their profile picture if they’re currently live or have a live broadcast scheduled.

Step 5: On Instagram Live, click on the three-dot menu on the bottom right side of the screen.

Step 6: From there, select “Cast Screen / Audio” and choose your Chromecast device.

Step 7: Once connected, the Instagram Live broadcast will be streamed directly to your TV.

Whether you prefer to watch Instagram Live from your computer or TV, the process is simple and straightforward. With these easy-to-follow steps, you can enjoy Instagram’s Live feature at any time, anywhere, and have fun interacting with your favorite profiles.
